We just finished reading Chapter 9 of The Outsiders that we have been reading in class. What happened in this chapter is that the big rumble between the greasers and the Socs happened. It started with Darry the biggest and strongest of the greaser and Paul a Socs facing off Paul threw the first punch and hit Darry straight in the jaw. This began the rumble Ponyboy took on a Socs that he thought was his own size but he was wrong and he was on the ground until Darry picked up the Socs on him and punched him 3 feet in the air. Ponyboy decided to help out Dally since one of his arms was severely burned. After the Socs turned tail and ran Dally told Ponyboy that they were going to go see Johnny.
